This video shows how to configure displays using the DisplayLink Manager Video Setup as well as how to use many of the basic features for configuring the virtual display monitor positions. Features like configuring the displays to match the physical monitor positions or preferred positions are shown; positioning displays horizontally and vertically, or a combination of both, are also featured. Advanced features including how to use only external displays are shown but not discussed.

Most significantly it enables us to use the Targus USB Audio by selecting it for Sound in the System Preferences. During the initial setup and installation of any Universal USB 3.0 Docking Station it’s critical to update your laptop’s (or Windows 8 Pro tablet’s) USB 3.0 Host Controller AND Display Adapter Drivers BEFORE installing the DisplayLink dock drivers.
