Blurry DisplayPort Monitor Rendering in Windows

Some modern monitors are using a different way of reporting their Dynamic Range in their associated EDID, and this is affecting the video quality on the docks' DisplayPort outputs. The new format can result in blurry text, poor contrast (i.e. Philips 241P) or displays not rendering (i.e. Dell UP3017) an image even though they are detected in Display Settings. Thankfully the monitors affected are few and far between as at the date of writing this blog. Please contact Targus is you are experiencing this issue.
