Android Docking While Charging the Battery

For those of you using a Targus Universal Docking Station (UDS) with your Android devices, please know that it is possible to power the Android device (i.e. phone) and charge the battery at the same time as using the Targus UDS for displaying on an external screen with mouse and keyboard and other USB devices in two ways:

  1. While the dock is plugged into the devices micro USB port, it is still possible to power and charge using a wireless charger if your device is so enabled.
  2. Using the Micro USB B Male to USB A Female Cable shown here and charging from the quick charge port on the Targus UDS.

Either of these ways you can leave your PC/MacBook/Linux device behind and say for instance, carry your phone to make a PowerPoint presentation.
