Alas, the Targus Universal Docking Stations DO NOT support DDC/CI for modifying monitor parameters like brightness, contrast, and color calibration. If color calibration is needed, it is recommended to calibrate the monitor using the local PC’s external monitor port and then connecting the monitor to the dock.
The feature was in the original DisplayLink DL-1×5 family, but Targus now uses the DL-3xxx family. DisplayLink found little interest in the feature and so it was not implemented in the DL-3xxx family. If you believe it is an important feature to implement, please reply to this blog and/or let Targus know.
